You have no idea how creating my first blog got me excited in the past few days; That excitement has
encouraged me to look more deeper into public relations profession through binoculars in public relations. w. I understand how exciting it is to be familiar with various
social media platforms and how educated does it feels like to have a social media account. And how clever does it seem to use these social media accounts for our personal experiences. That can be: to brag
about where we at, what are we doing and who are we with, and our relationship statuses. While doing that it is important to remember that our future starts today, that means we start building our tomorrow today.
lets take a look at more relevant do's and don'ts on social media
We need to be very careful on how we use social media, that includes what we say, what kind of pictures and videos do we upload on our social media accounts. For a word of advice; keep your private life private because that’s exactly what it is “private”……yes private. It is very important for us to remember who we are or soon to be and we must not forget what our profession is all about. We are tools of discipline in which we look after reputation with the aim of: earning, understanding, support and influence opinion and behaviour. Hence it is important for us to be very careful on how we present our self to the public especially on social media.
